Yuruga Nursery is a QBAN and NIASA-certified propagator and grower of premium quality plants including bananas, sugarcane, coffee, tropical and sub-tropical natives, rainforest trees, exotics, fruit trees, bushfoods, bird and butterfly attractors and wind breaks.
Located on the Atherton Tablelands in North Qld, Yuruga Nursery has been a subsidiary of the Howe Farming Group since 2016.
Our commercial production facilities include an on-site tissue culture lab (up to 400K plants per year), mist-houses, greenhouses and outdoor growing areas.
We proudly supply quality sun-hardened tubestock banana plants to farmers throughout QLD. We can also supply certified Banana tissue cultures in vitro to growers and nurseries in NSW, VIC, WA, and NT.
