William Ritchie is an artist, entrepreneur, and scientist with a PhD in Molecular Science. William is co-founder, director, principal inventor and CEO of Ritchie Technologies Pty Ltd (Rtec).
William cofounded Rtec with his Uncle Michael Ritchie after achieving a successful proof of concept demonstration of a novel plastic recycling technology.
Rtec has now successfully completed small-, and large-scale development trials of the technology and is currently moving towards commercialisation. The technology is intended to recycle post-industrial and post-consumer waste plastics in a single, highly efficient process without any prior processing.
In his role at Rtec, William is dedicated to innovation and development of new solutions to the current plastic waste and recycling crisis.
