WIN YOUR WAY TO CONGRESS returns in 2023

In 2019, the Congress Management Committee introduced the ‘Win your way to Congress’ campaign, a successful initiative that has contributed to an increase in grower attendance.

The campaign offers every grower who registers for Congress during the ‘Early Bird’ period the chance to win back the full cost of their registration, 3-nights’ accommodation at the Pullman Reef Casino (the Congress 2023 hotel) and $500 towards flights/travel – a prize valued at up to $2170.

The campaign generated plenty of grower interest in 2021 after being promoted extensively through ABGC’s social media, e-bulletins and national magazine.

‘Win your way to Congress’ is back in 2023 and, in light of its previous success, the Congress Management Committee is confident it will drive further grower attendance.

Our shout at Congress 2023!

What could be better than enjoying a few drinks at Congress?

Knowing that we’re picking up the tab!

Another successful campaign introduced in 2021, ‘Our Shout’ is returning in 2023.

Any grower who registers for Congress up to three weeks out from the event (exact date TBC) will go into the draw to win a $250 bar tab to spend at the Banana Bar. If the delegate is not a drinker, the $250 will be offered as a $250 voucher that can be spent on a range of services/food/beverages at Pullman Reef Casino Hotel. The Pullman Reef Casino Hotel is the official accommodation for Congress and the venue for the Welcome Drinks, Banana Bar and Banana Ball.

The winner of ‘Our Shout’ will be drawn at the Welcome Drinks on May 17.

Back a Grower Program

The Back-A-Grower Program provides a fantastic opportunity for growers who haven’t attended a Banana Congress to do so. Back-A-Grower is made possible through our generous event sponsors and provides those randomly selected growers with a free Congress registration.

The aim of this Program is to refresh the event audience, allow sponsors to meet new growers and drive long-term growth in the number of growers attending Congress.
