Stewart is the current Team Leader – Banana Production Systems for the Department of Primary Industries, Queensland. He has 36 years’ experience in horticultural extension, with the last 31 years working with the Australian banana industry. He has extensive project leadership and management experience across multiple pre- and post-farm gate R&D activities in bananas, including IPDM, cyclone recovery, post-harvest disease management and variety development.
