I am currently working on Reef Project 63a (formerly RP191): Banana Nutrient Rate Trials, which is funded through the Office of the Great Barrier Reef. The trials are based at Centre for Wet Tropical Agriculture, Boogan, Queensland. Since beginning my work in the banana industry in 2022, I have been involved in trial site maintenance and sampling across the Wet Tropics, from north of Innisfail to Tully.
I am also completing a Master of Data Science with James Cook University to deepen my ability to interpret and explore the data we collect. With over a decade of industry experience in aquaculture, this project holds particular relevance for me. My strong interest in fruit and plant science has made working on this project especially rewarding.
