Known for her passion and tireless energy, Lisa cares deeply about her clients and their business goals. Her in-depth understanding of the fresh produce industry and trends impacting the industry enable her to see opportunities others don’t see, resulting in innovative strategies and ideas that make a real difference to her client’s the bottom line.
Formerly known as the ‘broccolilady’, Lisa enjoyed her fifteen minutes of fame at a young age when she sent former US President George Bush Senior ten tonnes of broccoli and ended up meeting Barbara Bush on the White House lawn. Today, she is the lead strategist behind many innovative fresh produce brands, including: Eat Smart, Love! Kumara, Winter Sweetz, Naturalls, The Chosen Ones, Avovita, Born Pure and TRUU.
Lisa holds both a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Agribusiness Marketing and is a well-known columnist, writing for Produce Plus and Fresh Fruit Portal.
She consults to fresh produce clients around the world and while originally a California girl, she now calls New Zealand home.
