The Crown Promenade & Crown Metropol have a check in time of 1400 and a check out time of 1000. Some room rates include breakfast for one or two delegates, however if breakfast is not included in your room rate. Breakfast for delegates is served in Mesh Restaurant from 6.30am to 10.30am for $29.50 per person. Please confirm details with reception upon check in.

Melbourne Tullamarine Airport is roughly 25 minutes drive from the Congress venue, Melbourne CBD. Delegates are encouraged to utilise taxis to and from the airport, or the Skybus service (see details below). For those who wish to drive, the Congress venue is roughly 25km north-west of the Melbourne CBD & Crown Promenade. Hire cars are available within the Arrivals hall at Melbourne Airport. Parking is available onsite at the Crown Promenade. Approximate rates are below;
• Crown Metropol Melbourne Valet parking – $50.00 per day, per car.
• Crown Promenade Melbourne Valet parking – $35.00 per day, per car.
• Crown Complex Multi-Deck public Carpark – $18.00 per entry, per day (Cars can not be parked for more than 24 hours at a time).
Sky Bus – From the Airport to the City Centre
SkyBus offers an express bus service from the airport to the city centre. This service operates 24/7, including all public holidays. Buses run every 10 minutes throughout the day.

• $25 Family 1- (1 adult and 1-4 children)
• $7 Child (4-14 years)

What to pack
On average, Melbourne will experience a minimum temperature of 7ºC and a maximum temperature of 14ºC during June. The temperature is usually low in the mornings and evenings, and will peak to around 14ºC at lunch, then decrease again. We suggest that you pack layers, a jacket or coat as well as scarf & gloves, especially for the morning site tours, and the evenings. An umbrella is also suggested.
The dress code is smart casual throughout the Congress with lounge suit or formal attire required at the Australian Banana Industry Ball.
